Nesting Purse
altered book carrying case

Created from a child's book collection carrying case I found in the trash. Having 6 "sides" to decorate, this altered purse was quite a challenge. Thinking of a house and home, a nesting theme emerged. With a foundation of my favorite color, I added some recurring personal symbols - birds and flowers. This collaged, altered found object purse was one of my favorite projects! Click on the image to see the original carrying case.
